Role and Summary:

The Manager – Marine Safety will lead and oversee all safety operations related to marine and tidal zone construction activities, including piling from floating barges, cofferdam works, heavy lifting over water, and structure erection. The role ensures statutory compliance, environmental protection, and safe execution of all marine works.

Experience:

10–15 years in infrastructure projects with at least 5 years in marine / jetty / port / coastal bridge construction projects

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and implement Marine Safety Management Plan for all overwater and intertidal activities.
• Oversee safety compliance during piling, pier cap erection, cofferdam works, and barge-based operations.
• Review and approve JSA, Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and PTW for critical marine activities.
• Ensure safety of barges, pontoons, floating cranes, and crew transfer boats including life-saving appliances and stability controls.
• Develop and manage Marine Emergency Response Plan (man-overboard, fire, collision, oil spill scenarios) and conduct mock drills.
• Ensure compliance with Factories Act, Dock Workers Safety regulations, IS standards, MPCB / MoEF&CC guidelines, and ISO 45001 / 14001 standards.
• Lead marine incident investigations and ensure proper documentation under IMS systems.
• Conduct marine hazard training, toolbox talks, and promote strong safety culture.
• Coordinate with project, marine operations, and contractors to proactively mitigate risks.

Experience:

Minimum 10+ years in HSE within Infrastructure sector (Roads / Railways / Bridges / Marine / Ports / Metro / Industrial Projects)

Eligibility Criteria:

Preference will be given to Ex-Servicemen with relevant HSE experience in infrastructure or large-scale engineering projects.

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior HSE Professional to lead and strengthen safety, health, and environmental practices across our infrastructure projects nationwide. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring statutory compliance, implementing robust safety systems, and fostering a strong safety culture at project sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead implementation of HSE Management Systems across projects.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 standards.
• Develop and monitor project-specific HSE plans, risk assessments, and safety KPIs.
• Oversee high-risk construction activities and enforce preventive safety controls.
• Conduct audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
• Coordinate with project teams, clients, and regulatory authorities.
• Drive training, toolbox talks, and behavioral safety initiatives.
• Promote continuous improvement in safety performance across sites.
