We are hiring experienced Engineer (Plant & Machinery) for Liberia Projects.

Job Description

• Plan and manage deployment of all construction equipment required for highway and structural works
• Ensure availability of key equipment such as excavators, graders, rollers, pavers, batching plants, and transit mixers as per work schedule
• Coordinate with Highway and Structure teams for equipment requirement based on work fronts and priorities
• Prepare equipment mobilization and demobilization plans for different project locations
• Monitor equipment utilization and ensure optimum productivity across all work fronts
• Track idle time, breakdowns, and equipment performance, and take corrective actions
• Plan and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all machinery
• Ensure timely repair and maintenance to minimize downtime
• Maintain records of equipment usage, fuel consumption, and operating hours
• Monitor fuel consumption and control wastage through proper tracking and reporting
• Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with store/purchase team for timely procurement
• Ensure availability of trained operators and coordinate manpower requirements
• Implement equipment safety practices and ensure compliance with HSE requirements
• Maintain equipment logbooks, service records, and maintenance history
• Support planning team with equipment productivity inputs for scheduling and cost control
• Identify requirement of additional equipment and justify based on site conditions and workload
• Coordinate with vendors/service providers for repairs and specialized maintenance
• Preference will be given to candidates having experience in SAP or similar ERP systems for equipment management, maintenance tracking, fuel monitoring, and cost control
