Job Description
- Assist Senior Lab Technician in conducting field and laboratory testing for road and structural works
- Perform sample collection of soil, aggregates, bitumen, and concrete from site locations
- Prepare test samples including soil specimens, aggregates, and concrete cubes
- Support field testing activities such as compaction checks, moisture content, and density tests
- Assist in bituminous works testing including temperature monitoring and material handling
- Support concrete testing including cube casting, curing, handling, and record keeping
- Maintain proper records of tests conducted and submit data to Senior Lab Technician
- Ensure testing equipment, tools, and accessories are properly handled and available at site
- Assist in calibration readiness and upkeep of laboratory equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of laboratory and testing areas
- Support movement and setup of equipment at different test locations
- Follow instructions of Senior Lab Technician and QA/QC Engineer strictly
- Report any abnormalities or issues observed during testing or sampling
- Ensure safety and housekeeping standards in laboratory and field testing areas
