We are hiring experienced Quality Assurance Engineer - QA & QC for Liberia Projects.

Job Description

  • Establish and implement Quality Assurance & Quality Control system for the project
  • Ensure all works comply with applicable specifications and standards (AASHTO / MoRTH / IRC or equivalent as per project requirements)
  • Act as quality lead for compliance, documentation, and approvals with PMC and PIU
  • Prepare, review, and implement Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) for highway and structural works
  • Verify and ensure that execution complies with approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
  • Monitor quality of highway works including earthwork, subgrade, GSB, base, and bituminous layers
  • Ensure compliance of structural works including reinforcement, shuttering, concreting, curing, and de-shuttering practices
  • Review and approve material sources and ensure compliance with technical specifications
  • Supervise laboratory operations and ensure timely field and lab testing
  • Verify test results including compaction, gradation, bitumen properties, and concrete strength
  • Ensure calibration and proper use of testing equipment
  • Conduct stage-wise inspections and ensure approvals before proceeding to next activity
  • Prepare and submit quality reports, test reports, and compliance documents to PMC/PIU for approvals
  • Coordinate with PMC/PIU for inspections, approvals, and closure of comments/observations
  • Identify non-conformities (NCR) and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented and closed
  • Maintain all quality documentation required for audits, billing, and client submissions
  • Ensure proper material storage, handling, and usage as per standards
  • Coordinate with Highway and Structure teams to enforce quality compliance during execution
  • Preference will be given to candidates having experience in SAP or similar ERP systems for material traceability, inspection records, test data management, and quality compliance tracking ETC
