Job Description
- Execute day-to-day structural works at site as per instructions of Senior Structure Engineer
- Supervise labour and ensure proper execution of excavation, PCC, reinforcement, shuttering, and concreting works
- Arrange and check shuttering/formwork at site as per drawings and instructions
- Assist in placing and tying reinforcement as per BBS and drawings
- Ensure proper alignment, level, and dimensions of structure components before concreting
- Support concreting operations including preparation, pouring, vibration, and curing
- Ensure proper curing and assist in safe de-shuttering as per instructions
- Maintain discipline and productivity of labour and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks
- Check availability of materials (cement, steel, aggregates, shuttering material) at site
- Inform Senior Engineer about any shortages, delays, or site issues
- Maintain daily work progress and labour records
- Follow safety practices during excavation, shuttering, lifting, and concreting works
- Assist QA/QC team during inspections and testing when required
