We are hiring experienced Jr. Highway Engineer for Liberia Projects.

Experience Required 3 years of experience in road/highway projects  

Job Description

• Execute day-to-day highway construction activities for assigned stretch (earthwork, subgrade, GSB, base, bituminous works)
• Implement work plans and instructions received from Deputy Engineer
• Supervise Highway Supervisors and ensure proper execution at site level
• Ensure layer thickness, line, level, camber, and compaction are maintained during execution
• Coordinate with Survey team for setting out, levels, and alignment before start of work
• Coordinate with QA/QC team for field testing (FDT, material checks) and timely inspections
• Maintain daily progress records, measurement details, and site reports
• Track material consumption and report shortages or delays
• Ensure proper utilization of all machinery like graders, rollers, pavers etc at site.
• Monitor earthwork & bituminous works including embankment, subgrade, prime coat, tack coat, DBM, and BC etc execution at site.
• Identify site issues (material, equipment, manpower) and report to Deputy Engineer
• Ensure proper drainage arrangements and site readiness before work execution
• Follow safety instructions and ensure supervisors comply with HSE requirements
• Coordinate with structure team at culvert/approach locations during execution
• Support in achieving daily and weekly targets as per project schedule.
