We are hiring experienced Deputy Project Engineer (Highway) for Liberia Projects.

Experience Required Minimum 10 Years in similar projects.

Job Description

• Assist Project Incharge in planning and execution of highway works across assigned stretches
  
• Prepare and manage work fronts for earthwork, subgrade, GSB, base, and bituminous layers
• Allocate work to Jr. Highway Engineers and monitor their performance
• Review daily/weekly progress and ensure alignment with construction schedule
• Coordinate with Planning team for target setting, progress tracking, and recovery planning
• Interface with QA/QC team to ensure stage-wise quality compliance and approvals
• Ensure construction activities are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and method statements
• Coordinate with Survey team for alignment readiness and work front availability
• Coordinate with Structure team at interface locations (culverts, bridge approaches) without handling structure execution
• Review requirement of machinery and coordinate with P&M team for deployment planning
• Identify delays, resource gaps, and site constraints and take corrective actions
• Conduct periodic site inspections and guide Jr. Engineers and Supervisors on execution improvements
• Ensure proper work sequencing considering drainage and rainfall conditions
• Monitor implementation of safety and environmental practices in coordination with HSE team
• Report progress, risks, and daily address key issues to Project Incharge during site execution.
